At the Quarterly communication Provincial Grand Master Bill Perry bestowed the Honourary Provincial Grand Rank of Sword Bearer on P.M. John Gardner, a great honour not only for himself but also to the lodge

On the 27th Dec. 2016 R.W.M. Ross Goldie was installed into the chair of the lodge with the aid of I.M Ronnie McDougall and I.M. Rodger Harkins who also installed the office bearers, the Ceremony was witnessed by S.P.G.M Steven Campbell and his deputation
A re-dedication ceremony was held in the lodge to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of our temple,
this was carried out by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward Office Bearers, an excellent turnout of
members and visitors were in attendance.
RWM David Truesdale presented cheques of £400 to each of the representatives of his nominated charities at the annual Xmas dance
CHAS, St Andrews Hospice and Alkziemer Scotland
RWM Donald Reaoch presented cheques for £400 to each of our nominated charities for this year 2014 which were C.H.A.S who kindly came along to our xmas dance on Sat 6th Dec.
The other two organizations were unable to attend, so RWM Donald visted Erskine Hospital and the Maggie Centre personally and presented them on behalf of the 203 brethren.
The cheques were gratefully received and their thanks to the brethren of the lodge conveyed to the master.
On Saturday 7th December our annual Xmas Dance was held and a great night was had by all, we had the pleasure of having representatives from two of our nominated charities namely Bob Tomlinson of CHAS and Alan Moss of Erskine Hospital.
Right Worshipful Master Colin Lees presented a cheque to both charities for £500 each
On Wednesday 9th of October we had the honour of the presence of the Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Tom Davidson and several members of the Provincial office bearers for the purpose of presenting 50 year diplomas to four of our brethren, unfortunately PM JImmy Gilchrist should have been presented as well but due to illness was unable to attend. RWM Colin Lees and PGM Tom Davidson presented the diplomas to Pm Garry Speirs, Pm Archie Livingston, Almoner David Truesdale and Bro. John Rooney . All were congratulated and Bro. Alm David Truesdale thanked the PGM and RWM for the honour. Also on that evening an EA deg took place where Bro. Christopher Dickson was initiated into the lodge, parts of the degree was carried out by SD Garry Wilson and IG Ross Goldie, grandsons of PM Garry Speirs and PM Archie Goldie (pictured below)
On the evening of the lodge xmas dance RWM Ronnie McDougall presented two cheques for £500 to two of our nominated charities Mavisbank School and St. Andrews Hospice and on the following Monday at the pensioners treat Ronnie presented another cheque fo £500 to Erskine Hospital

of the lodge pensioners treat
The ladies of the lodge recently held a charity night and raised the princely sum of £1200.00
They gave a cheque of £600.00 each to St. Andrew's Hospice and likewise to the Beatson's oncology unit. the thanks of the lodge goes to the lodge bar stewardess Anne Campbell for organizing the event
Our Sportsmans dinner on Friday 8th October was a tremendous success, our grateful thanks go to Chairman for the evening PM. Ian Wilson of Coltswood Glenboig 1067 and our speakers Andy Goram and Brian Bianchi. we would also like to thank everybody who attended and in particular everybody who donated the excellent raffle prizes.
